This song is probably well-known for being performed by Santana with a Latin twist, but it was originally written and performed by Peter Green for Fleetwood Mac!
This version takes inspiration from Aldrine’s play-along video. You should definitely check that out, too!

Black Magic Woman is a twelve bar blues chord progression in D minor. The solo sticks to a D minor scale with only a few exceptions.
I don’t use a lot of bends in this arrangement because I find it hard to get a full note bend on ukulele strings. When bends do appear, you should have plenty of time to crank them out. The rest of the time, slide into notes from below whenever possible, and apply lots of vibrato whenever you get the opportunity.
During the verses, the low-G ukulele mainly improvises stumming, chunking and sliding barres. Keep it light and let the baritone carry the rhythm.
In the original Fleetwood Mac version, the song breaks out into a shuffle beat Dm chord jam after the final verse. If you’re playing with another musician, go for it!
